Job summary

Flex-N-Gate LLC. in Battle Creek, MI is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to independently troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and install plant equipment including mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

You will support automated systems, stamping presses and production cells, with a focus on quality, productivity and ergonomics. The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing, PLC troubleshooting, MIG/TIG weld setup and robot programming across FANUC, ABB, Nachi, and Motoman

Qualifications

• 3+ years in industrial manufacturing
• Journeyman card preferred
• Able to troubleshoot PLC programs
• Able to set/verify parameters for MIG/TIG welders
• Able to program/troubleshoot robots (FANUC, ABB, Nachi, Motoman)

• Modify existing production work cells to improve quality, productivity and ergonomics

Scope of the Position

Perform all the tasks required to independentlytroubleshoot, diagnose, repair, adjust, replace and install plant mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and other components for equipmentin a manufacturingenvironment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and program malfunctionsin automated systems, automated machineryand stamping presses
• Modify existing production work cells to improve quality, productivityand ergonomics
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Install new machinery as required

Qualifications

• Prefer 3 years+ of industrial manufacturing experience
• Prefer journeyman card
• Able to troubleshoot PLC programs
• Able to set and verify parameters for resistance, MIG and TIG welders
• Able to program and trouble shoot robots (FANUC, ABB, Nachi, Motoman)
