Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Finishing Operator for a cell-based manufacturing environment in Indiana. You will perform finishing operations, read engineering blueprints, and verify product dimensions with precision measuring devices to ensure adherence to specifications.

This role includes 2nd or 3rd shift opportunities, a focus on safety and quality, and a path for career development within a supportive, inclusive culture that recognizes performance and rewards

Qualifications

• Cell Process Certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints.
• Ability to use precision measuring devices and instruments.
• Physical capacity to lift between 20 to 50 lbs, depending on department assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform finishing operations within a cell, including material handling, sorting, cleaning, deburring, straightening, blasting, stress relief, NDT preparation, vibratory/tumbling, immersion cleaning, electropolishing, etching, and cutoff saw operations
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure proper manufacturing specifications
• Measure products using precision measuring instruments to verify product dimensions and identification
• Complete and maintain accurate cell records, including inspection records, setup sheet revisions, preventive maintenance logs, and training documentation
• Working hours: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Various Shifts Available)
