Job summary

Zimmer Biomet is seeking a team member to perform finishing operations that support the machining and polishing steps in our manufacturing process. The role requires reading and interpreting blueprints, and performing precision measurements to verify product conformance.

You will document inspection results, prepare and revise setup sheets, and maintain maintenance and training records. Depending on the department, lifting 20–50 lbs may be required; travel is 5% or less.

What You Can Expect

This position is responsible for various finishing operations that follow the machining and polishing operations in the manufacturing process.

How You'll Create Impact

• May be required to do some or all of these tasks in a cell: Material handling, sorting, cleaning, de-burring, straightening, blasting, stress relief, NDT preparation, vibratory/tumbling, immersion cleaning, electro polishing, etching, and cutoff saw operation.
• Read and interrupt blueprints.
• Measure the products using precision measuring instruments to identify/verify products.
• Record inspection records, prepare and revise setup sheets, record preventative maintenance, training and other record keeping as required in the cell.
