Job summary

Williams International is seeking a Cell Specialist - Special Processes for 2nd shift in Pontiac, MI. You will operate heat-treating and fabrication equipment, read blueprints, perform precision work, and maintain quality records in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities include setting up tempering/annealing processes, removing burrs, using hand tools, and adhering to safety and 6S standards while meeting throughput goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience in precision assembly preferred.
• Able to read and interpret basic blueprints.
• Ability to use micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.
• Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM or 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate heat treating and fabrication equipment.
• Remove burrs and ensure parts meet blueprint tolerances.
• Use hand tools to assemble and finish parts.
• Maintain proper identification and documentation of parts.
• Support team goals and reduce scrap; improve throughput.
• Perform routine TPM of machines and equipment.
• Adhere to safety rules and 6S workplace.
