Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Cell Supervisor in Liberty, MO, to lead production employees with emphasis on safety, quality, and meeting customer demands.

You’ll run pre-shift meetings, remove obstacles, monitor output, and report status to plant leadership, while promoting a zero-injury culture and continuous improvement. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of supervisory experience, with strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and managerial skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in computer operations.
• Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, diagrams, and business documents.
• Comfort presenting information and answering questions from diverse audiences.
• Ability to apply advanced mathematics as needed.
• Able to calculate OA (operational availability) and downtime per assembly line.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct production employees with a strong focus on safety, quality, productivity, and urgency to meet production priorities.
• Remove obstacles so requirements and customer commitments are achieved.
• Run effective daily pre-shift meetings and maintain clear, consistent team communications.
• Report production status, risks, and concerns to the Production Manager and plant leadership.
• Apply established escalation procedures to resolve issues quickly.
• Champion plant operating principles, including open communication and 2-way feedback.
• Lead continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance methods and equipment.
• Adjust shifts as necessary to meet operational needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
