Job summary

Watts Water Technologies in Franklin, NH is seeking a detail-oriented assembler to join the operations team. You will assemble and test valves and components using assembly machinery, jigs and fixtures on the second shift.

You will follow ATIs, document production records, package items, maintain a clean, safe work area, and report quality or safety concerns to your supervisor. On-site position with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test valves and components using assembly machinery, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Test and package valves and components and label with proper identification materials.
  • Complete production records, recaps, and quality control documents.
  • Continuously assemble valves and/or sub-parts.
  • Maintain housekeeping to meet safety/environmental standards.
  • Report quality or safety concerns to supervision.
  • Assume responsibility for additional tasks as needed by supervision.

Scope of Position

This reliable, self-starting individual, as part of the operations team, will be responsible for assembling and testing valves and/or valve components using assembly machinery, jigs, and fixtures. The position reports to the Production Supervisor, is onsite, and is based in Franklin, NH.

Shift

Second Shift: 2:30pm – 11pm (overtime as per business needs).

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Follow prescribed A.T.I.’s (Assemble Test Instructions) to maintain excellent quality standards.
  • Test and/or package valves and components in individual boxes and into master cartons, marking them with the proper identification labels and instructional materials.
  • Complete recaps, production records, and quality control documents.
  • Continuously assemble valves and/or sub‑parts.
  • Perform routine housekeeping to ensure the area operates within parameters that conform to environmental and safety standards.
  • Report any quality or safety concerns immediately.
  • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor or Company management.

Working Conditions

During job duties, you will work on-site in a manufacturing facility at the company’s Franklin location, Franklin, NH. Your scheduled work hours will be communicated by your manager.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to physically move around the manufacturing floor.
  • Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
