Job summary

HSM (Hickory Springs Manufacturing) Company is seeking production workers at our Fort Smith, AR location. You will operate and monitor production cells, perform machine setups, and conduct quality inspections to maintain high standards of output.

Responsibilities include loading materials, maintaining documentation, and troubleshooting equipment with a team-focused mindset. You will train across multiple operations and uphold 5S and safety guidelines daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Six months of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read work instructions, blueprints, and use basic measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Dependable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to learn new equipment and grow your manufacturing skills.

• Operate and monitor multiple machines and workstations within an assigned production cell.
• Perform machine setups, adjustments, and minor maintenance to keep production flowing.
• Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Load and unload materials and components safely and efficiently.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Identify and report equipment or quality issues while assisting with troubleshooting.
• Cross-train on multiple operations within the production cell.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment using 5S principles.
• Work closely with teammates to achieve daily production and quality goals.
