Job summary

HSM in Sheboygan, WI is hiring a CNC Tube Laser Operator to set up, operate, and monitor tube laser cutting equipment. You will load programs, adjust settings, and read blueprints to meet production requirements.

You will perform first-piece to final inspections using calipers and micrometers, maintain records, and support continuous improvement while keeping a clean, safe work environment. Manufacturing background and attention to detail required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Manufacturing experience; CNC/tube-laser/metal fabrication preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and manufacturing documentation.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other precision instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer skills for machine operation and production reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and safety mindset.
• Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify quality concerns and work with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

• Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing documentation

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Basic computer skills for machine operation and production reporting
• Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and a strong safety mindset
• Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus
