Prolific Machines in Emeryville, CA is seeking a Research Associate to join the Cell Line Development team, contributing technically to advancing multiple projects and innovating workflows. Responsibilities include maintaining cell line banks, developing new lines, and performing cell-based and protein assays, with collaboration across functions and documentation in ELNs.

Candidates should hold a Biology degree with 2+ years lab experience, mammalian cell culture expertise, and proficiency in

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Biology or equivalent with 2+ years of experience.
Extensive hands-on mammalian cell culture experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
Experience with data analysis software such as GraphPad Prism.

Responsibilities

Maintain an internal cell line bank, banking new cell lines and ensuring quality for Research purposes.
Develop and engineer new cell lines.
Assessment and quantification of target antigen expression.
Design and perform cell-based and protein analysis assays.
Contribute to improvement of processes and techniques.
Analysis and interpretation of data and presentation to internal stakeholders.
