Job summary

TE Connectivity seeks a Team Lead to oversee daily production floor activities, coordinate schedules, and ensure quality with adherence to 5S and lean practices. The role involves operating machinery, aiding set-ups, and guiding continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in wire and cable manufacturing or similar environments.
• Prior experience as lead operator, trainer, or set-up technician is beneficial.
• Ability to read work instructions, BOMs, routings, and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with quality standards and measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, rulers).
• Excellent English reading, writing and speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities within the assigned cell on the production floor.
• Review and assign daily Production Order List, monitor schedules, and maintain flow.
• Operate machinery and assist with machine set-ups and changeovers; act as technical resource.
• Promote safety policies and maintain 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Ensure products meet drawings, specifications, and routings; manage TAKT times.
