HDR is hiring a CEI Project Administrator for our Florida CEI Group in Tampa, Florida.
Primary Responsibilities
  1. Serve as point of contact and project lead for multiple construction projects.
  2. Plan and organize the work of subordinate and staff members.
  3. Develop and review policies, methods, practices, and procedures.
  4. Review programs for conformance with Department standards.
  5. Perform constructability and biddability reviews.
  6. Provide mentorship to junior staff.
  7. Provide risk management and issue resolution leadership.
  8. Manage a variety of project-related administrative and accounting functions.
  9. Manage complex project files, documents, and records independently.
  10. Compose and develop correspondence and reports.
  11. Manage project insurance matters.
  12. Apply company quality assurance guidelines and monitor quality assurance independently.
  13. Manage project documents and files.
  14. Answer questions regarding company policies and procedures.
  15. Organize meetings and assist with presentations.
  16. Work with complex contracts and sub-agreements.
  17. Track and monitor project budgets, workloads, and schedules.
  18. Participate in project reviews.
  19. Maintain professionalism with clients.
  20. Collaborate closely with Project Managers and project teams.
  21. Exercise good judgment and resolve problems related to administrative functions.
  22. Handle client invoicing, collections, project budgets, and contractual compliance as needed.
  23. Oversee activities of other administrative support staff.
  24. Perform other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering License.
  • Experience in Structures/Bridges Construction Management/Inspection.
  • Ability to interpret construction schedules.
  • Experience with FDOT or similar agencies is strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in construction planning and management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam, etc.
