Job summary

Calvin Giordano & Associates (CGA), a SAFEbuilt company, seeks an experienced CEI Project Administrator in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The role supports FDOT and municipal transportation and infrastructure projects from initial construction through final closeout.

Ideal candidates have CEI, engineering, or construction management background, with strong organizational skills and proficiency in MS Office. Bachelor’s degree preferred; substantial experience may substitute for formal education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Two years of engineering experience on relevant transportation projects; degree substitution allowed.

Responsibilities

• Support administration and oversight of transportation projects per FDOT and municipal requirements.
• Assist all phases of project administration: docs, progress tracking, estimates, change orders, closeout.
• Direct and assign tasks to staff and coordinate project activities.
• Maintain accurate project documentation: daily reports, inspections, certifications, test results, submittals.
• Monitor contractor performance, schedules, quantities, and contract compliance.
• Coordinate with field staff, contractors, engineers, and client representatives to meet requirements.
