Job summary

Egis is seeking a Senior CEI Project Engineer in Raleigh, NC to lead multi-year transportation projects, overseeing scope, schedule, cost, and client relations. You will drive CEI pursuits and manage project teams to ensure profit and successful delivery.

The role requires 15+ years of CEI experience on transportation programs, an NC PE license, and strong communication skills. You will join a global infrastructure leader delivering innovative transportation solutions that connect communities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of CEI Project Engineer experience on transportation projects, 2+ years of which must include major road and/or bridge construction projects, or 5+ of which must include major bridge construction projects.
• Must possess a current NC PE License.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages the full life cycle (proposal-initiation-execution/control-closeout) of CEI pursuits and contracts in North Carolina and assumes primary responsibility for project profit or loss.
• Manages all activities related to project scope, schedule, cost, cash flow, quality, communications, resources, procurement, and risk elements required to optimize client service, quality, and fiscal responsibility.
• Establishes contractor-client liaison network to keep all interested parties informed of project planning, start date, and work progress.
• Forms CEI teams and ensures responsibilities are assigned and tasks are started and completed according to schedule.
• Maintains a continuous business relationship with major clients as part of ongoing business development efforts.
• Lead construction engineering administration and inspection teams.
• Plan and organize the work of subordinates and staff members.
• Develop and/or review policies, methods, practices, and procedures.
• Review work programs at the state and local level.
• Must have effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to market and pursue projects with new and existing clients.
