Job summary

Barge Design Solutions is seeking a CEI Inspector in Florida to perform technical assignments including inspection of utility relocation, roadway construction and bridge construction activities, and to oversee contractor daily operations.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, verifying work completed, assisting with construction pay estimates, and performing field sampling and verification testing, reading plans, surveying, and construction computations.

Qualifications

• 2 years of construction inspection experience.
• 1 year in roadway/bridge construction.

Monitor construction progress, verify work completed and assist with construction pay estimates and senior inspector responsibilities.

Education & Experience Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in construction inspection
• 1 year in roadway and / or bridge construction

Ideal Candidate Shall Possess The Following Qualifications/Certifications

• CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I
• CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
• CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
• CTQP Pile Driving Inspection
• CTQP Final Estimates Level I
• FDOT Intermediate MOT
• Florida Stormwater, Erosion and Sediment Control Certification

(Candidates that possess some, but not all, of the above are eligible for employment consideration provided said certifications can be obtained within six months)
