Job summary

City of Columbia Police Department seeks a dedicated professional to implement and monitor the Operation Cease Fire program, coordinating with law enforcement, courts, colleges and community partners. The role focuses on offender follow-up, referrals and progress tracking.

The position also engages in outreach, prepares grant reports, and develops educational materials while supporting group violence intervention efforts. Related duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration or closely related field.
• Two (2) years of relevant program management experience in criminal justice settings.
• Valid South Carolina Class D Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Implements, coordinates and monitors the Operation Cease Fire program for the City of Columbia Police Department.
• Provides support to group violence intervention members and coordinates partnerships with service providers.
• Tracks offender progress and conducts regular program reviews and case management follow-ups.
• Develops public educational materials and participates in grant progress reporting.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
