Job summary

The City of Columbia SC seeks a Program Manager to implement and monitor the Operation Cease Fire program for the City Police Department. You will coordinate with law enforcement, courts, colleges, faith-based groups, and community partners to connect offenders with needed services.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in business or public administration and at least two years in program management within criminal justice, plus a valid SC Class D driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration or closely related field.
• Two (2) years of relevant prior experience in program management in the criminal justice field.
• Valid South Carolina Class “D” Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains relationships with local service providers and program partners to identify high risk offenders.
• Determines resources needed and makes connections and referrals to ensure offenders receive support.
• Tracks progress of offenders throughout the program.
• Participates in meetings with Outreach workers to ensure proper referrals and case management.
• Develops and disseminates public educational materials.
• Prepares grant progress reports and other program reports.
