Job summary

Paragon Building Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a Parts Cleaner to support EUV Manufacturing in San Diego. The role involves cleaning parts, packaging after ensuring dryness, and maintaining product cleanliness while following client cleanroom SOPs.

The position requires the ability to stand, lift up to 35 lb, and work in controlled cleanroom environments. Candidates should have basic education and be flexible with overtime, weekends, and holiday work as needed.

Qualifications

• Cleanroom experience is preferred but not required.
• High school or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Open availability: Overtime work and schedule adjustments may be needed/necessary.
• Due to cleanroom regulatory requirements, wearing makeup is not allowed to include fake eyelashes, drawn on eyebrows, fake nails, and nail polish.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of parts.
• Packaging in EUV Manufacturing, parts should be dry before packaging to avoid recontamination.
• Ensure product cleanliness to prevent any other contamination after cleaning
• Assembly must take place in one go, with a minimum of interruptions, so that exposure to contamination-sources is minimized in time.
• Works in controlled environments where strict rules and procedures must be followed to prevent contamination.
• Wear specific cleanroom garments while working for safety purposes.
• Follows and executes client’s cleanroom SOPs and documentation.
• Performs proper cleaning methods such as vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning all work surfaces/equipment, mopping of walls, ceilings, and floors.
• Willingness to learn new concepts to understand cleanroom techniques and demonstrate proper cleanroom behavior fully always.
• Perform End of Shift Inspections (EOS) following company guidelines, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met at the end of each shift.

Payrate: $19.00

Schedule: Thursday, Friday and Saturday and every other Wednesday

Hours: 6:30am - 7pm

The Parts Cleaner is responsible for providing parts cleaning and packaging in EUV Manufacturing per San Diego requirements. The ideal candidate will be flexible, responsible, highly motivated, and able to multi-task.

Physical Requirements:

• Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.
• Must be able to lift 35 lb, carry 12 lbs backpack vacuum as needed.

Compliance Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age.

Work Environment:

Clean rooms, controlled environments and technical rooms that typically have positive pressure, are HEPA filtered, adhere to a clean working environment, and have specific ways to enter and exit the assigned work area. Gowns must be worn for the protection of the room and products. Temperatures are cooler than a normal office building with controlled humidity.
