Job summary

Paragon Building Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a Critical Environment Technician to maintain cleanrooms in a controlled environment. The role requires following strict procedures, wearing cleanroom garments, and performing thorough cleaning tasks within set time frames.

Ideal candidates will be flexible, responsible, and able to multi-task. The position includes evening shifts from Monday to Friday, 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM, at a pay rate of $23 per hour.

Qualifications

• Cleanroom experience is preferred but not required.
• High school or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Open availability for overtime and schedule adjustments; holiday work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Keep assigned cleanroom areas in a clean and orderly condition, free of visible contamination.
• Wear cleanroom garments for safety.
• Follow and execute client cleanroom SOPs and documentation.
• Perform proper cleaning methods (vacuuming, trash, surfaces, equipment, walls, ceilings, floors) within a structured time frame.
• Willingness to learn cleanroom techniques and demonstrate proper behavior.
• Perform End of Shift Inspections (EOS) and ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

General Responsibilities

The Critical Environment Technician is responsible for keeping assigned cleanroom areas in a clean and orderly condition and free of visible contamination. The ideal candidate will be flexible, responsible, highly motivated, and able to multi-task.

Specific Duties / Essential Functions

• Works in controlled environments where strict rules and procedures must be followed to prevent contamination.
• Wear specific cleanroom garments while working for safety purposes.
• Follows and executes client’s cleanroom SOPs and documentation.
• Performs proper cleaning methods such as vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning all work surfaces/equipment, mopping of walls, ceilings, and floors within a structured time frame.
• Willingness to learn new concepts to understand cleanroom techniques and demonstrate proper cleanroom behavior fully always.
• Perform End of Shift Inspections (EOS) following company guidelines, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met at the end of each shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Rate

$23 per hour

Skills & Experience

• Cleanroom experience is preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.
• Must be able to lift 35 lb, carry 12 lbs backpack vacuum as needed.

Work Environment

Clean rooms, controlled environments and technical rooms that typically have positive pressure, are HEPA filtered, adhere to a clean working environment, and have specific ways to enter and exit the assigned work area. Gowns must be worn for the protection of the room and products. Temperatures are cooler than a normal office building with controlled humidity.
