Job summary

Alamo Colleges District is seeking a part-time Continuing Education Welding Instructor. The position requires teaching welding classes across daytime, evenings, and weekends at various locations. It is contingent on department needs and does not include benefits.

Job Summary and Description

Position responsible for teaching Continuing Education classes. Continuing Education Instructors are hired in a part-time capacity contingent upon the needs of the department. Classes are offered during daytime, evenings, and weekends as well as some College holidays. Classes are offered at various times and locations during the academic year.

  • Three (3) years of work experience in welding.
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Associate's degree in related training discipline.
  • Three (3) years of directly related experience in welding to include the following welding processes: GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, and FCAWTAW may be substituted for degree.
