Job summary

UNICON International Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst / CDP Developer in Torrance, CA to analyze customer and event data, optimize complex SQL, and build scalable data solutions.

You will leverage Python for automation and integrations, work with CDP platforms, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and activation. Qualifications

• 5+ years in data analysis, data engineering, or data operations.
• Advanced SQL and query optimization for large datasets.
• Experience with CDP platforms and CRM systems.
• Python for data processing, automation, and APIs.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and identity resolution.
• Familiarity documenting processes in Confluence or similar.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer data and large datasets to generate insights and support decisions.
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL across Presto, Hive, NoSQL.
• Support data processing, automation, and API integrations with Python.
• Work in cloud platforms (primarily AWS) applying data-architecture principles.
• Validate data quality, diagnose issues, and monitor pipelines.
• Document business rules, transformations, and workflows in Confluence.
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, marketing, CRM teams and SMEs.
• Operate CDP workflow tools (Digdag, TD Workflows) for pipelines.
• Ensure privacy/compliance standards (GDPR, CCPA, PII) are followed.
• Improve automation, reliability, and system performance end-to-end.
