Job summary

The Marshes of Skidaway Island in Savannah, GA seeks a hospitality-focused Certified Dietary Manager to lead our dining services team. You will deliver high-quality dining experiences, support resident nutrition goals, and maintain a home-like environment.

With a CDM and ServSafe certification, you will manage kitchen operations, collaborate with nursing and culinary teams, and participate in care planning and training for staff. This role blends clinical insight with compassionate leadership.

Qualifications

• CDM and ServSafe certifications required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in kitchen and dietary management in a health care setting.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screen.
• Experience with clinical assessments on residents and care plans preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead dining services team with hospitality, respect, and personalized service.
• Build relationships with residents, learn preferences, and support individual needs.
• Interview residents/family to obtain dietary history and preferences.
• Use Resident Satisfaction Surveys to enhance dining service.
• Ensure meals meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee kitchen operations: staffing, scheduling, production, inventory, and ordering.
• Collaborate with nursing, wellness, and culinary teams on health and nutritional goals.
• Participate in Nutrition at Risk Committee and Skin/Wound Care Committee.
