Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Live Haul Driver to haul live chickens from area farms to the processing facility. This local, home-daily role offers daily home time and a $5,000 bonus, with pay around $75,000 per year and weekly averages of about $1,500.

The successful candidate will operate a flatbed trailer, secure cages, and navigate farm roads. Minimum 3 months CDL experience and a valid DOT medical card are required. Live haul experience preferred.

• Secure chicken cages to the flatbed using a cheater bar.
• Drive through challenging farm conditions, including grades, bumps, and ditches.

Earn approximately $75,000 per year hauling live chickens from area farms to a processing facility. This dedicated local position offers daily home time, Monday-Friday scheduling, and a $5,000 bonus.

Pay Details

• Average Weekly Pay: Approximately $1,500
• Bonus: $5,000

Shift Details

• Monday-Friday schedule
• Start times between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM
• Required to work 1-2 Saturdays per month
• Home daily
• Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day off

Job Requirements
