FedEx is seeking a yard switcher to move 48- and 53-foot trailers within the yard and at loading docks. The role involves hooking, moving, and positioning trailers to ensure safe and efficient loading/unloading operations at night and early morning shifts.

Candidate will operate yard equipment, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and follow safety procedures. CDL-A and a valid license are required; DOT files must be maintained. E-Verify program participation noted.

Competenze

• Requires valid driver's license and DOT file.
• CDL Class A required to operate interstate commerce.
• Ability to understand and follow safety instructions and work duties.

Mansioni

• Operate trailer switches, move parked trailers from yard to doors or vice versa.
• Coordinate trailer movements with management or central control.
