Qualifications

• Ability to use basic tools such as skate wheel rollers, dock carts and hand-held scanners.

Responsibilities

• Performs trailer switches to move a parked trailer from yard to door or from door to yard.
• Coordinates trailer movements with management and central control.
• Documents trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Follows yard safety processes and performs other duties as assigned.
