Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A license and maintain a DOT file.
• Must be able to follow safety instructions and operate yard equipment.
• Ability to discern numbers for sort orders and package movements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Physically able to perform lifting, pushing, and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Hook and move parked trailers from yard to load/unload doors.
• Coordinate trailer movements with management.
• Document trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Adhere to yard switching safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
