Job summary

Roadrunner Freight is seeking a DOT-hostler operator to move trailers and freight in our Mira Loma yard. You will shuttle trailers, load and unload freight with forklifts, and ensure safety and compliance while maintaining efficient dock flow.

Qualifications include a valid CDL with a clean driving record, ability to pass a DOT physical, and forklift experience. Hazardous Materials training is a plus; a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening.
• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience.
• Proven forklift and industrial equipment operation experience.
• Hazardous Materials training and certification.

Responsibilities

• Execute yard and trailer moves with precision across dock doors and staging areas.
• Load, unload, and transport freight using forklifts and hoists.
• Maintain DOT safety, perform routine equipment checks, keep area clean.
• Coordinate with dock teams to keep yard flow and priorities aligned.
• Participate in team initiatives to boost productivity and safety.
