URBN is hiring a Yard Jockey in Levittown, PA at 2401 Green Ln. The role involves moving trailers, docking, and maintaining equipment while upholding safety and quality standards. It requires visible communication and independent work in a busy yard environment.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, a current DOT physical, and at least 1 year of tractor-trailer yard experience. The position offers flexibility and opportunities for cross-training with management oversight.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid Class A, CDL and a current DOT physical.
• Must have an acceptable driving record.
• Minimum 1 year yard tractor-trailer experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality guidelines and regulations.
• Move empty trailers to shipping doors, set loaded trailers to doors, and remove trailers as directed.
• Safely maneuver tractor-trailer in a compact yard area.
• Enter and exit yard tractor multiple times per shift.
• Maneuver equipment with good backing skills.
• Transport trailers between two facilities located across the street.
• Lift and open trailer doors.
• Maintain the tractor in a clean, sanitary condition.
• Conduct daily inspection of trailers and keep yard in order during shift.
• Maintain trailer inventory and ensure proper trailer seals.
• Assist in warehouse responsibilities including forklift operation.
• Perform other duties within training and as directed by supervisor/manager.
• Communicate effectively with team members, leads and supervisors.
• Complete assignments within the allotted time.
