Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers is seeking a Yard Jockey with a valid Class A CDL to move trailers around the distribution center yard. You’ll train with a Professional Driver Trainer (PDT) and learn the C&S Way before handling yard moves safely.

Shifts are Sunday–Wednesday, 4pm–4am. You’ll log trailer temperatures, complete yard inventory, perform inspections, fuel and clean equipment, and support loading and unloading where required to keep gate times on target.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and Medical Card are required.
• Experience maneuvering/backing trailers with a jockey wagon; tractor-trailer experience preferred.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment checks.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers around the distribution center yard as directed.
• Check and log trailer temperatures based on product requirements.
• Complete yard inventory and enter data into the yard management system.
• Inspect, fuel, and clean the vehicle and trailers.
• Support store deliveries and other duties as assigned.
