Job summary

Reyes Holdings in Enfield, CT is seeking a Yard Jockey to load straps, racks, and shippers onto trucks and assist with pallet building. You will manage hand trucks and tow motors, ensuring equipment is charged and ready for drivers, and help keep the warehouse and yard clean and organized.

The role requires a Class A CDL, ability to lift up to 170 pounds, and 0–1+ years of driving experience. This is a hands-on position with daily dock activity.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 0 to 1+ years of specific driving experience.
• Class A CDL Permit to Class A CDL license.
• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds.

Responsibilities

• The Yard Jockey is responsible for loading straps, racks, and shippers onto truck during the loading process.
• Assist with pallet building and unloading of trucks to maintain organization of pallets and shells.
• Ensure hand trucks and tow motors are charged and ready for drivers; ensure DSD routes have a fully charged mule on trailer before leaving the dock.
• Maintain general cleanliness of the warehouse and yard and assist with replenishment of product.
• Other duties as assigned
