Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Yard Driver to maintain yard organization and safely spot trailers at dock doors and throughout the yard. CDL licensed drivers may move trailers to offsite locations and update trailer moves via a hand-held device.

Responsibilities include daily yard equipment inspections, driving yard trucks, and leveraging the Yard Management System to ensure yard accuracy. Must be 21+, eligible to work in the United States, and CDL licensed.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL and be able to operate yard equipment safely.
• Yard operations experience and strong safety mindset.
• Basic knowledge of yard management and equipment inspection.
• Education: high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform general warehouse tasks as needed.
• Conduct daily yard equipment inspections and drive/spot yard trucks at designated locations.
• Ensure yard accuracy using the Yard Management System.
