Job summary

Wasatch Front Waste & Recycling District is seeking a Residential Garbage Truck Driver (Equipment Operator) to join our team in Utah. This full-time role includes benefits and a rotating four-day work week with 10-hour shifts.

You will drive CDL-equipped trucks, follow assigned routes for refuse and recycling, and transport loads to designated facilities while performing regular inspections and maintaining safe operation.

Qualifications

• One year of equipment driving experience with CDL.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily route collecting refuse and/or recycling.
• Operate state-of-the-art garbage trucks.
• Transport loads to landfill, transfer station or recycling facility.
• Perform pre- and post-shift inspections and keep equipment clean.
• Keep loads within legal limits and follow all laws and regulations.
• Maintain safe work practices and report hazards.
