Job summary

Okie Staffing is seeking a reliable CDL Class A or B driver to join a waste management team. You will operate waste collection vehicles on assigned routes, provide excellent customer service, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, completing route paperwork, and maintaining a safe work environment while communicating effectively with dispatch and team members. This role requires safety-focused, outdoors work in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B license.
• Minimum 1 year CDL driving experience.
• Clean MVR.
• Must pass DOT drug screening.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and perform physical duties.
• Strong commitment to safety and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL Class A or B waste collection vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Collect and transport residential, commercial, or industrial waste according to routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Complete daily route paperwork and required documentation.
• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Report vehicle maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch and team members outside the truck.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
