Job summary

Cherry Creek School District in Colorado is seeking a Warehouse Driver to support the Food and Nutrition Services warehouse operations districtwide. You will unload deliveries, stock storage areas, and transport bakery, produce, and warehouse items to district schools while monitoring temperatures.

This role requires a CDL within 6 months, a high school equivalency, and a clean driving record. You will perform daily inspections and fulfill orders with attention to safety and accurate inventory

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma required.
• 1 year of professional work experience required.
• Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Must successfully pass the Department of Transportation physical.
• Must meet insurability requirements of the Colorado School District Self Insurance Pool.
• Possess and maintain a good driving record.
• Basic knowledge of office equipment such as computers, scanners, radios, cell phones.
• Basic knowledge of math.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with others or independently.
• Ability to work with frequent interruptions and readily change to accommodate priority needs
• Ability to operate safely warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, liftgates, dollies, etc. after training.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of food and supply orders to multiple schools daily, with temperature checks and inventory scanning.
• Process orders for delivery next day with accurate picking and pallet building.
• Assist in moving product to correct storage location using FIFO processes.
• Maintain proficiency with safety, security, and food safety training.
• Assist receiving and inspection of product to ensure correct temperature ranges.
• Support during district breaks and summer deliveries; handle recalls if needed.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of storage areas to pass health inspections.
• Perform daily inspections of forklifts, pallet jacks, and vehicles and document maintenance.
