Job summary

Kent School District is seeking a Substitute Nutrition Services Warehouse Driver to deliver food and supplies from the central kitchen warehouse to district schools. You will operate a delivery truck, maintain vehicle condition, and ensure accurate paperwork for all deliveries.

Responsibilities include stocking and pulling inventory, moving equipment as needed, and supporting the food service team. Requires a high school diploma or GED and a WA driver’s license; forklift training is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1 year of delivery truck experience or equivalent.
• Valid Washington State driver's license and driving record meeting requirements.
• Forklift training certificate preferred or required as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operates delivery truck and maintains vehicle cleanliness and safety.
• Receives, pulls, and delivers from inventory food, supplies, materials, and equipment to schools and district locations.
• May move equipment and materials within the district.
• Picks up and delivers supplies from vendors and suppliers.
• Maintains paperwork to account for pickups and deliveries.
• Maintains orderly warehouse inventory and storage areas.
• Conducts daily inspections of staff and warehouse vehicles.
• Acts as a food service team member and performs related duties as assigned.
