Job summary

Kent School District is seeking a Substitute Nutrition Services Warehouse Driver to deliver food and supplies from the central kitchen warehouse to district schools. The role requires operating a delivery truck, maintaining it, and ensuring accurate paperwork for each pickup and delivery.

Responsibilities include receiving, pulling, and delivering inventory, moving equipment within the district, and keeping warehouse areas clean and organized while supporting the food service team in daily

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and 1 year experience driving a delivery truck or similar vehicle.
Valid Washington State driver's license and driving record meeting requirements; forklift training certificate.

Responsibilities

Deliver food and supplies from central kitchen warehouse to district schools.
Operate delivery truck and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety.
Receive, pull, and deliver from inventory food, supplies, materials, and equipment.
Move equipment within the district.
Maintain necessary paperwork for pickups and deliveries.
Keep warehouse inventory and storage areas orderly and clean.
Perform daily inspection of staff and warehouse vehicles.
Serve as member of the food service team and perform related duties.
