Phoenix Metals Company is seeking a full-time warehouse person with a Class A CDL to assist in the warehouse and cover a driver route if needed. This role is within Delivery, involving loading, unloading, and transporting metal safely to regional destinations.

Applicants must have a valid Class A CDL, complete a road test, and meet FMCSA and insurance requirements. The position offers hourly pay and regular daytime shifts in Spokane Valley, WA.

Qualifications

• 2 years of commercial driving experience with relevant cargo preferred.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid CDL per assigned vehicle type required and road test completed.
• Ability to meet FMCSA drug and alcohol clearinghouse requirements.
• Ability to meet insurability standards and MVR criteria.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles with GVWR over 26,001 lbs to deliver or pick up merchandise.
• Load and unload trucks; maintain inventory accuracy and warehouse cleanliness.
• Follow safety procedures for cargo securing and vehicle operation.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and log findings per FMCSA requirements.
• Read bills of lading and manifests, obtain receipts or signatures as required.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and customers.
