Job summary

Reliance, Inc. is seeking a full-time warehouse associate with a Class A CDL to help in the warehouse and cover a driver route when needed.

This role sits in the Delivery family, handling planning and execution of vehicle operations, loading/unloading, and coordination of local and regional deliveries. The position requires a CDL, road test, and adherence to FMCSA rules, with duties including maintaining inventory, safety practices, and paperwork accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid CDL per vehicle type required.
• Road test completion required.
• Able to meet insurability standards.
• FMCSA drug/alcohol clearinghouse compliance required.
• Meet all driver qualifications per Federal regs (49 CFR part 391).
• Acceptable MVR in line with company policy.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles >26,001 lbs to deliver/pick up merchandise to regional/local destinations.
• Load/unload trucks, maintain inventory accuracy, and organize warehouse.
• Safely maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions and perform daily vehicle inspections (FMCSA).
• Read bills of lading and manifests to determine assignment details and document proceedings.
