Job summary

The Food Bank of Northern Nevada seeks a Warehouse & Delivery Coordinator in Elko, NV to manage daily warehouse activities and coordinate regional food distribution.

Responsibilities include inventory control, order preparation for partner agencies, safe operation of a Class B truck, and collaboration with volunteers and staff to ensure timely deliveries and adherence to food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record.
• 2-3 years in warehouse ops, logistics, delivery or distribution.
• Ability to safely operate a box truck with lift gate.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and perform data entry.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
• Coordinate food receiving, storage, inventory management, and distribution activities.
• Prepare and assemble food orders for partner organizations and distribution programs.
• Coordinate delivery routes and schedules with the Satellite Food Bank Manager.
• Safely operate a Class B refrigerated box truck with lift gate and ensure proper loading.
