Job summary

Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina seeks a Transportation/Warehouse Associate Class-B to safely drive a Class-B vehicle, handle loading/unloading, and support warehouse operations across the 34-county service area. You will maintain proper records, follow safety and food-safety standards, and collaborate with a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Five years of professional commercial driving experience and ability to safely operate a Class B vehicle (GCWR up to 33,000 lbs).
• Three+ years of experience in warehouse, food distribution, or a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• 80%: conduct daily route in a safe, efficient manner while following DOT/FMCSA and food safety policies; document timing and route data in Roadnet and maintain logs.
• 20%: assist with loading/unloading in the warehouse and distribute product within warehouse with attention to safety and equipment maintenance.
