Job summary
Schneider National in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced trainer to support drivers, operations, safety and training teams. You will be a primary resource for coaching, evaluating road-readiness and guiding drivers through Schneider’s curriculum to uphold safety and performance standards. Qualifications
Previous instructor or training experience preferred.
Strong coaching and mentoring skills.

Able to learn, demonstrate and train Schneider’s company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Act as a training resource for drivers and operations, safety and training teams.
Provide training to drivers, evaluate skills and determine road-readiness.
Coach and mentor drivers following Schneider’s curriculum.
Maintain and update training records.
Assist with answering training-related phone calls.
Support in areas outside training, including hauling freight, new customer start-ups, repositioning equipment and performing truck inspections.
