Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a Vactor Operator to drive and operate sewer-cleaning pump trucks, perform system maintenance, and maintain safe operating practices. The role requires travel and flexibility with shifts, Monday through Friday with potential weekends or evenings.

The ideal candidate will hold a CDL A or B with a medical card, have prior construction experience, and demonstrate a reliable driving record. Competitive benefits are offered.

Your Responsibilities as a Vactor Operator:

• Drive and operate sewer-cleaning pump trucks
• Perform general diagnostic and maintenance to waste systems
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Conduct pre-shift vehicle inspection
• Performs laborer duties as needed to ensure a timely and quality job and carry out special projects as assigned
• Travel Required

What We Need From You (Our Requirements):

• CDL License, class A or B with medical card
• Previous experience working in the construction field
• A record of safe vehicle operation
• Possess a good driving record over the last 3 years and successful completion of a pre-employment background check, reference check, and drug screen.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday and can include shift work, weekends, evenings, holidays - flexibility is required as job duties demand.

Salary Range

• $22.00- $32.00, depending on position qualifications, job related skills and experience, education, certifications, and geographic location.
