Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a CDL Vac Truck Operator to support sewer and pipeline projects in Riverview, FL. You will drive and operate sewer-cleaning pump trucks, perform routine maintenance, and conduct pre-shift inspections. Travel is required and safety is prioritized on every job.

The position is full-time and non-exempt, with a benefits package including health, vision, and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off. A Class A or B CDL with medical card is required.

Qualifications

• CDL License, class A or B with medical card.
• Experience in construction field.
• Record of safe vehicle operation.
• Clean driving record over the last 3 years; successful completion of pre-employment background check, reference check, and drug screen.

Your Responsibilities as a Vactor Operator:

• Drive and operate sewer-cleaning pump trucks


• Perform general diagnostic and maintenance to waste systems


• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner


• Conduct pre-shift vehicle inspection


• Performs laborer duties as needed to ensure a timely and quality job and carry out special projects as assigned


• Travel Required

What We Need From You (Our Requirements):

• CDL License, class A or B with medical card


• Previous experience working in the construction field


• A record of safe vehicle operation


• Possess a good driving record over the last 3 years and successful completion of a pre-employment background check, reference check, and drug screen.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday and can include shift work, weekends, evenings, holidays - flexibility is required as job duties demand.
