Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC in Virginia is seeking a Vactor Operator to drive and operate sewer-cleaning pump trucks, perform diagnostic and maintenance tasks on waste systems, and conduct pre-shift vehicle inspections.

You will work a full-time, non-exempt schedule, with hours Monday through Friday and potential shift work, weekends, evenings, or holidays. A CDL A or B with medical card is required, along with a proven safe driving record.

Qualifications

• CDL License, class A or B with medical card.
• Previous experience working in the construction field.
• A record of safe vehicle operation.
• Good driving record over the last 3 years; pre-employment background, reference checks, and drug screen required.

Your Responsibilities As a Vactor Operator

What We Need From You (Our Requirements)

• CDL License, class A or B with medical card

• Possess a good driving record over the last 3 years and successful completion of a pre-employment background check, reference check, and drug screen.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday and can include shift work, weekends, evenings, holidays - flexibility is required as job duties demand.

Salary Range

• $22.00- $32.00, depending on position qualifications, job related skills and experience, education, certifications, and geographic location.
