Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Vactor Operator to drive sewer-cleaning pump trucks, perform diagnostic work on waste systems, and maintain equipment to keep systems running safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate holds a CDL Class A or B with a medical card, a clean driving record, and a history of safe vehicle operation.

This full-time, on-site role may include shift work, weekends, and travel; pre-employment checks apply.

Qualifications

• Good driving record over the last 3 years.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, reference check, and drug screen.

Your Responsibilities as a Vactor Operator:

• Drive and operate sewer-cleaning pump trucks

What We Need From You (Our Requirements):

• CDL License, class A or B with medical card
• Previous experience working in the construction field
• A record of safe vehicle operation
• Possess a good driving record over the last 3 years and successful completion of a pre-employment background check, reference check, and drug screen.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday and can include shift work, weekends, evenings, holidays - flexibility is required as job duties demand.

Salary Range

• $22.00- $32.00, depending on position qualifications, job related skills and experience, education, certifications, and geographic location.
