Job summary

McAllister is seeking a Vactor Operator to drive sewer-cleaning pump trucks and perform diagnostics on waste systems. You will operate equipment safely and efficiently, conduct pre-shift inspections, and assist with special projects as needed.

The role requires a CDL A or B with medical card, a clean driving record, and completion of background checks and drug screening. Full-time, with varied shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• CDL license class A or B with medical card required.
• Clean driving record within the last 3 years.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• References may be contacted as part of the hiring process.
• Experience in construction or related field is preferred.

Your Responsibilities as a Vactor Operator:

• Drive and operate sewer-cleaning pump trucks
• Perform general diagnostic and maintenance to waste systems
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Conduct pre-shift vehicle inspection
• Performs laborer duties as needed to ensure a timely and quality job and carry out special projects as assigned

What We Need From You (Our Requirements):

• CDL License, class A or B with medical card
• Previous experience working in the construction field
• A record of safe vehicle operation
• Possess a good driving record over the last 3 years and successful completion of a pre-employment background check, reference check, and drug screen.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday and can include shift work, weekends, evenings, holidays - flexibility is required as job duties demand.

Salary Range

• $22.00- $32.00, depending on position qualifications, job related skills and experience, education, certifications, and geographic location.
