The Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a Vactor Operator to join our field operations in Virginia. This full-time role operates sewer-cleaning pump trucks, performs routine maintenance, conducts pre-shift inspections, and supports safe, efficient project delivery on infrastructure sites.

The position requires a CDL Class A or B with a medical card, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass background and drug screening. Travel is required and shift flexibility may be needed.

Qualifications

• CDL license class A or B with medical card; clean driving record required.
• Experience in the construction field and ability to travel.
• Pre-employment background check, reference check, and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate sewer-cleaning pump trucks
• Perform general diagnostic and maintenance to waste systems
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Conduct pre-shift vehicle inspection
• Performs laborer duties as needed to ensure a timely and quality job and carry out special projects as assigned
• Travel required
