Job summary

Vortex Companies is seeking a Vactor Operator to drive and operate sewer-cleaning pump trucks and perform routine maintenance on waste systems. The role requires a CDL Class A or B with a medical card, plus a solid driving record and background checks.

The position is full-time, on-site in a fast-paced infrastructure environment with travel. Compensation ranges from $22.00 to $32.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and location, with robust benefits and a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• CDL License, class A or B with medical card.
• Previous experience working in the construction field.
• A record of safe vehicle operation.
• Possess a good driving record over the last 3 years and successful completion of a pre-employment background check, reference check, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate sewer-cleaning pump trucks.
• Perform general diagnostic and maintenance to waste systems.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Conduct pre-shift vehicle inspection.
• Performs laborer duties as needed to ensure a timely and quality job and carry out special projects as assigned.
