Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Utility Driver in Nelsonville, OH to provide safe trash and recycling collection across multiple routes. You will operate various trucks, perform routine inspections, and maintain detailed logs while delivering excellent customer service.

Minimum 1–2 years CDL driving experience and ability to read maps are essential. The role requires flexibility for nights and weekends and a valid DOT medical card.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years CDL truck driving experience.
• Ability to read and understand a map.
• Ability to drive all types of trucks in fleet.
• Good written and verbal communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services safely and efficiently.
• Operate trucks and complete routes.
• Enter/exit the truck 300-500 times daily.
• Maintain route and driver logs; conduct pre/post trips.
• Interact professionally with customers and coworkers.
