Job summary

Wiregrass Georgia Technical College invites applications for the part-time Commercial Truck Driving Adjunct Instructor (CFE). Under the CTD program coordinator, the instructor trains students on the driving range and over-the-road to help them earn a Class A CDL, while ensuring safety and proper documentation.

Position is adjunct, up to 27 hours per week, with no health benefits; salary is commensurate with education and experience.

Qualifications

• A technical certificate in the teaching discipline and a current/valid commercial truck driver’s license, or a current/valid commercial truck driver’s license with three (3) years experience in the field and with verifiable academic credentials, qualifications, or competencies appropriate for teaching the course content.

Responsibilities

• Train and assist students on both the driving range and over the road to develop skills to obtain a Class A CDL.
• Prepare and maintain all required documentation; ensure safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Course availability may vary each term.
