Qualifications

• Certificate in Commercial Truck Driving from an accredited institution.
• Current CDL Class A Driver’s License
• Three (3) years out of the past seven (7) years of unrestricted Class A experience
• Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate

Responsibilities

• Provides instruction in Commercial Truck Driving in accordance with state standards.
• Maintains knowledge of current trends in Commercial Truck Driving.
• Instructs in classroom and lab environments that simulate industry settings.
• Instructs face-to-face, blended, or on-campus as needed.
• Prepare standardized course syllabi using provided templates.
• Assesses student progress based on grading requirements; grades coursework timely.
